Gerrells Sports Center, which opened in Grand Forks in 1972, introduced Hockey World in 1987. Hockey World offers top of the line products from leading manufacturers such as Bauer, Nike, CCM, RBK, Easton, Mission, Itech, Vaughn, Louisville TPS, Sherwood, Shock Doctor and Under Armour.

Hockey World also introduced "skate leasing" to the area in 1989. We lease new and reconditioned skates and have a huge selection numbering over 3000 pair. We also take pride in offering complete skate service after the sale.

Hockey World also is one of only 30 retail hockey stores in the nation to be able to offer the Nike/Bauer Custom ID Stick Program. Our customers are able to CUSTOMIZE their stick for optimum PERFORMANCE and PERSONALIZE it also.
